Eating Disorders Program

At Center for Discovery we offer intensive residential treatment programs for adolescent females and males between the ages of 10 to 19 years old. Discovery specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and other related complex disordered eating. At Discovery we help families find direction, encouragement and hope.

Adolescents suffering with eating disorders often exhibit unhealthy behaviors surrounding weight and food, and may have extreme emotions and attitudes. We offer professional help for adolescents struggling with eating disorders to uncover feelings underlying the disorder and how to deal with those feelings in a healthy and productive way.

Our treatment goals at Discovery are to help teens regain a healthy life, deal with clinical and dietary issues and develop the necessary tools so a full and worthwhile life may be experienced. We also understand that families are in need of support and an understanding of the disorder if they are to experience more peace of mind. Committed to the family model of care Discovery seeks the family's involvement in treatment in order to understand the resident's issues and develop techniques to become an integral part of the support team for long-term recovery.
