Helping Families Find Direction, Encouragement and Hope.
Center for Discovery's residential treatment program provides help to male and female adolescents (ages 12 - 17 years old) struggling with dual diagnosis including substance abuse, and other self-injurious behaviors. Treatment at Discovery includes a blend of individualized therapy, weekly family work, intensive group work, art therapy and 12-step in a well-structured and nurturing environment. We are a preferred provider to many insurance plans and we will assist families in verifying their insurance benefits. Our treatment philosophy is based on a strategic and carefully designed process of addressing the complex nature of addiction, emotional and behavioral problems. We understand there are a multitude of overwhelming factors coming together and affecting the adolescent on a daily basis. Residential treatment is often necessary to allow the adolescent to spend time in a safe setting to identify fundamental processes and begin the road to recovery.
